New Rolls-Royce chairman and CEO, Karl-Heinz Kalbfell, expects Korea to become the third largest market for the acclaimed Phantom in the Asia Pacific region, behind China and Japan.

He added: “This opening event breaks new ground for Rolls-Royce. Never before has this marque been formally represented in Korea and we have high hopes for a significant sales success here.”

Rolls-Royce will be represented in Seoul by HBC Kolon, a firm that has already been successful with a number of luxury brands outside the automotive industry. It also enjoys a long-standing relationship with BMW.

Kalbfell added: “In Kolon, we believe we have the perfect partner to capitalise on this opportunity.”
