MGTF sports-car maker Nanjing Automobile Corporation (NAC) will receive production and assembly equipment from body-in-white panel supplier Stadco Ltd’s Coventry, UK site as part of a recently signed contract.

The equipment will be transferred to NAC’s Longbridge plant and used in the construction of the body of the MGTF sports car. Stadco will install the equipment and also be responsible for the re-launch of body production in Longbridge.

Full production is expected to be achieved by “mid-2007”.

The contract may mark the beginning of “further, long-term co-operation” between Stadco and NAC in Longbridge.
