  Bosch and Denso to make filters in Poland

Component groups Denso and Bosch have announced that their joint venture to manufacture diesel particulate filters will be sited at Wroclaw in Poland.

The pair have committed €8 million to planning an engineering and manufacturing site in the Polish city, under the name ADIF.

The plant will manufacture filters made from the Cordierite ceramic. The technology and manufacturing process will be developed at Kariya in Japan for transplant to Poland, with production scheduled to start in 2009.
