Romax to set up CAD/CAE centre in India

28 April 2009

Transmission design and analysis software group Romax Technology is to set up a centre of excellence for computer-aided design and engineering in Pune, India.

The centre will provide engineering knowledge to Romax's worldwide user base. The company expects that more than 50 skilled engineers will be employed there within a few years.

Director of Asian business Younsu Park said the new centre would be responsible for delivering advanced engineering to customers globally. "This will enable more innovative research and development work to be carried out at Romax headquarters at Nottingham in the UK," he said.

Romax provides software for transmission companies to design gear systems and test them.
